📓The Project:

The Source is the world’s longest-running Hip-Hop periodical and has long been established as an iconic platform within music and popular culture. To further strengthen the publication’s place as a purveyor of new talent within the digital age, the On The Rise feature vertical was birthed.

💡 The Role (Editorial Music Lead):

• Managing a team of freelancers and contributors

• Developing and managing editorial calendar

• Translating the publisher’s goals into actionable strategies

• Developing the visual identity of On The Rise

• Coordinating interviews and editing features

• Strategizing social media marketing efforts to amplify its reach.
